Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy provides oxygen to help mitochondria run more efficiently and effectively to support most complementary therapies. Wherever there is inflammation, there is an increase in CO2 in the tissue, and oxygen aids in healing. In cases of infections, Lyme disease, pancreatitis, muscle, cancer and joint pain, ozone potentiates what we do to help animals heal.

Ozone, (O3), is an energized form of oxygen which contains three atoms of oxygen rather than the two atoms we normally breathe. Ozone is the second most powerful sterilizer in the world and can be used to destroy bacteria and viruses.

When healthy, the body is able to rid itself of toxins which would otherwise accumulate to harmful levels through the process of oxidation.  Oxidation is the process wherein a substance is changed due to the effects of oxygen upon it.  Oxidation breaks the toxins down into carbon dioxide and water, and eliminates them from the body.  However, if the necessary oxygen is not available within the body our bodies cannot eliminate these toxins adequately and a toxic reaction can occur.  In minor cases, a toxic buildup can lead to fatigue, while a wide range of diseases can result when poor oxygenation is chronic.
